As GLP-1 drugs reshape the conversation around appetite and metabolic health, the food industry has largely focused on adapting products for GLP-1 users. The challenge was to take a different path: designing food to support the body’s natural satiety pathways using food-grade ingredients suitable for everyday products.

NotCo AI combined biological screening with AI-guided formulation to explore that possibility. After screening 38 food-grade botanical batches for their activity across key GLP-1-related pathways, machine learning models integrated biological and foodomics data to predict synergistic ingredient interactions and determine optimal concentration ratios. The most promising combinations were then validated through targeted assays and advanced to a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study in 30 participants.
